Tanya Black

After years of graphic and advertising design, children's art therapy and counseling, theatrical costuming, jewelry making and metalsmithing, Tanya is happiest in her current roles as artist, teacher and mother to 2 girls who supply her with inspiration and ideas. This has lead to teaching children's art classes when none were available to her own children, and the realization that the connections made with other children and parents through these classes were invaluable. Tanya holds a degree in Studio Arts, and can be found making things daily with her family in Carbondale and teaching wonderfully creative art classes at the Wyly for ages 2-5 years old.
